The Yale Development Dialogues
Economic Policy Lessons from History
The Yale Development Dialogues: Economic Policy Lessons from History convenes economists, historians, journalists, and policymakers to apply insights from history and economics to the most pressing global policy issues confronting low- and middle- income countries: health, the environment, inequality, gender, and education. The series began in 2021, with the aim of sparking conversations that cross lines of geography, discipline, and historical period.
The Yale Development Dialogues will continue into 2022 as a collaboration between the EGC, the Department of History, and the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs. Sign up for notifications of upcoming events in the series
