C. Austin Davis

Postdoctoral Fellow

During AY17-18 and AY19-20, Davis worked with Yale colleagues on a variety of projects related to the movement of people in South Asia, including the causes and consequences of forced displacement and ethnic conflict, government-intermediated international migration, and COVID response.

His current work broadly focuses on major labor market transitions in low- and middle-income countries; in addition to the projects started at EGC, this includes the mechanization of agriculture and the dynamics of gender wage gaps.
